We are searching for an enthusiastic and committed Accounting and Finance Manager to join our dynamic team at HFM.

Overview:

This position entails comprehensive oversight and management of all financial operations. This role requires a seasoned finance leader who can navigate complex regulatory environments, driving financial strategy, and ensuring sound financial practices across all our global entities. Reporting directly to the Deputy CFO, the successful candidate will be responsible for guiding financial policies, procedures and ensuring compliance on an international scale.

Your role at HFM:

• Suggest and implement cost control measures to reduce costs and improve profitability.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive global finance and accounting strategy aligned with the company’s business goals.
• Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes across multiple regions.
• Establish, maintain, and ensure compliance with a structured monthly accounting checklist for all accountants across the Group.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Manage risk assessment, internal controls, and audit processes to safeguard company assets and optimise financial performance.
• Collaborate closely with other senior leaders to support new initiatives, expansion strategies, and market opportunities.
• Drive improvements in financial systems, processes, and tools to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.

What You Bring:

• BA/BSc in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Master’s or MBA would be considered as an advantage.
• Recognised professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
• 5+ years’ post-qualification experience in a senior finance role, ideally within the Trading, Fintech, or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of global financial markets, particularly in CFDs or similar trading environments.
• Proven track record in developing and executing financial strategies for a multinational organisation.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment.
• High proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills; familiarity with trading platforms would be considered as an advantage.
