CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an independent professional services firm specialized in the fields of Accounting, Audit, Tax and Advisory, we are seeking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing monthly payroll in the Company’s payroll software system, including relevant payments to the Authorities, as well as ensuring payroll processes comply with local tax regulations and statutory requirements. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or other relevant fields, and holders of any relevant accounting certifications including LCCI Higher, are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess approximately 2+ years’ experience in a relevant position, with any knowledge of either E-Soft and/or PremierSoft accounting software considered an advantage. Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English are essential. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Process monthly payroll in the Company’s payroll software system and make relevant payments to the Authorities.
- Ensure payroll processes comply with local tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including personal details, salary information, deductions, and adjustments.
- Respond to client enquiries regarding payroll issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure all documentation is up to date and stored securely.
- Registrations to social insurance department.
- Submission of employer’s return (IR7) monthly and annually.
- Preparation of the Certificate (IR63).
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Approximately 2+ years professional experience in a relevant role is essential.
- Holders of the LCCI Higher, or any other relevant accounting certification are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent attention to detail, with exceptional numerical skills.
- Good client service skills.
- The ability to multi-task, and maintain accuracy at all times is a must.
- Knowledge of E-Soft and/or PremierSoft accounting software will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English.
