CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Financial Services, regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK, we are seeking to recruit a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will collaborate with the development team to understand business requirements, features, and technical implementation. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, who possess practical experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Selenide, Appium, or similar. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes, experience with version control systems like Git, and exposure to Agile methodologies, and working in SCRUM teams, will be considered an advantage. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, based on skills and experience, including 1 day per week (Wednesday) remote working options.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with the development team to understand business requirements, features, and technical implementation.
• Design, develop, and modify both functional automation and manual tests to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Execute manual and automated test cases, providing regular reports on testing status and progress to project teams.
• Identify, track, and drive resolution of issues throughout the testing process, ensuring all defects are addressed effectively.
• Manage in-house testing documentation, maintaining clear and organized records of test plans, test cases, and results.
• Provide testing-related services and support to other departments and companies within the group as required by your direct supervisor.
• Contribute to improving testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance overall software delivery and quality.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Practical experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Selenide, Appium, or similar.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing processes.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proactive, organized, and efficient with excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring high-quality software.

 

Nice to Have: 

• Practical experience in software development, enhancing your ability to collaborate with developers and understand technical challenges.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and working in SCRUM teams.
