We are searching for an enthusiastic and committed Senior AML Officer to join our dynamic team at HFM.

Your role at HFM:

• Provide regular updates and make recommendations by monitoring, evaluating, and support the ongoing assessment of the adequacy and effectiveness of the company's Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and mitigate potential risks.
• Participate in relevant audits and collaborate with other departments ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Review training materials related to the AML function to ensure they align with legal requirements and are
• effectively communicated to company staff.
• Provide advice and guidance to the employees of the company on subjects related to money laundering and terrorist financing.
• Stay updated with changes in the legal framework making relevant suggestions to the team and AML Function Manager.
• Communicate with relevant departments for obtaining any additional requirements and information as regards the obligations of the Company under the AML Law.
• Maintain and refresh the Company’s policies and procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of reports to senior management.
• Escalating key or high-risk AML compliance issues to the AML Function Manager.
• Review current procedures and controls to be in line with the Company’s legal documentation.
• Conduct investigations of possible fraud, in coordination with other departments, as applicable.

What You Bring:

• BSc/BA in Legal, Finance, Economics or relevant field.
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience within a regulated company would be considered an advantage.
• Preferably holding CySEC Certificates of Professional Competence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and work to strict deadlines.
