Company Description
On behalf of our client, the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), we are seeking to recruit a motivated professional for the position of ΙT Systems and Network Administrator. The position will be based at the client’s premises in Nicosia.

Job Duties
The IT Systems and Network Administrator is responsible for the administration, operation, and monitoring of the CCCI's network systems, as well as the provision of IT support and training for users. This role encompasses a variety of technical duties across systems, networks, hardware, software, security, and IT project management. The role also requires ongoing coordination with vendors, suppliers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and secure IT operations for the organization. Key responsibilities include:

1. System Network Administration & Monitoring:

  • Administer, operate, and monitor CCCI's network systems to ensure their proper functioning.

  • Perform regular system backups, security checks, and network troubleshooting.

2. User Support & Training:

  • Provide 1st level support for IT issues, both hardware and software, for users across the organization.

  • Deliver training to staff on new software and hardware, as well as proper IT practices.

3. CRM Platform Administration:

  • Administer the CCCI CRM platforms, including the CCCI and Local Chambers Members database, GS1 system, Certificates of Origin, MailChimp, Mfiles, and Electronic Filing System.

  • Ensure that data within these platforms is properly managed and secure.

4. Microsoft 365 Platform Administration:

  • Administer and maintain the Microsoft 365 platform for the organization, including user management and application configurations.

5. Website & Multisite Platform Management:

  • Manage and update the main CCCI website and CCCI multisite platform to ensure content is up-to-date and fully functional.

6. Security Management & Policy Implementation:

  • Ensure the proper implementation of security policies and procedures across IT systems and networks.

  • Monitor and enforce GDPR and Cybersecurity policies to ensure compliance.

  • Represent the organization in cybersecurity-related matters and liaise with cybersecurity communities.

7. Vendor & Supplier Coordination:

  • Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for IT-related services, products, and support.

8. Security & Telecommunication System Management:

  • Oversee the management of security systems, telecommunications, audiovisual systems, multi-board cameras, and hybrid event technology during conferences and meetings.

9. Event & Seminar Representation:

  • Represent the organization at meetings, seminars, and events related to IT, cybersecurity, and other relevant topics.

10. Tenders and Proposals Management:

  • Lead the development, analysis, and coordination of new IT projects and initiatives.

  • Manage the preparation of tenders and proposals for software, hardware, and related IT services.

  • Oversee the analysis of tenders and proposals, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and budgets.

11. Hardware & Software Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor and ensure the smooth operation of all IT hardware resources, including timely replacement and upgrades.

  • Ensure operating systems, software updates, and security patches are applied regularly.

  • Conduct live monitoring of servers, firewalls, and online platforms to ensure continuous service availability.

12. IT Procurement & Administration:

  • Manage IT procurement, including the purchase of hardware (computers, printers, network equipment, etc.) and software (applications, security tools, etc.).

  • Oversee the administration of consumables, peripherals, and network accessories.

  • Inspect and approve IT-related invoices and payments, working closely with the accounts department to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Proven experience in IT systems administration, network management, and security.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, CRM systems, and website content management platforms.

  • Familiarity with GDPR and cybersecurity best practices.

  • Experience managing IT procurement and vendor relationships would be considered as an advantage.

  • Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
