CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of innovative technology solutions, with a particular focus on IT Consultancy & Software Development, we are seeking to recruit an IT Project Manager to join their growing team based in Limassol. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading project planning sessions, coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or another relevant field, who possess a minimum of 2+ years of experience in project management, ideally gained working in the Fintech and/or Financial Services sectors. Holders of the PMP and/or PRINCE2 project management certifications are encouraged to apply, and familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices is a must. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience, and working hours are from 08:00 – 17:30 from Monday to Thursday, and from 08:00 – 14:00 each Friday.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Lead project planning sessions, ensuring the project scope is well-defined. 
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. 
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress. 
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. 
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. 
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks. 
• Report and escalate issues to management as needed. 
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. 
• Ensure resource availability and allocation. 
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. 
• Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project. 

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is a plus. 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry. 
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification is preferred. 
• Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Knowledge of financial software development and blockchain technology is a plus. 
• Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 
• Proactive and results-oriented. 
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. 
• Ability to motivate teams and drive results.
