CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Audit, Accounting & Tax related services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Tax Associate to join their growing team based in Nicosia. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar, who possess approximately 2+ years of relevant tax advisory experience gained working for a professional services firm. You will need to possess sound knowledge of domestic direct tax related matters pertaining to individuals and companies, with specific experience with the completion and submission of TD1, TD4 and IR7 Forms. Any knowledge or experience of Transfer Pricing will be considered an advantage, but not essential and fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English is a must. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities:  

• Review of Financial Statements from a direct tax perspective.
• Preparation and filing of personal and corporate income tax returns.
• Assistance in the provision of advisory and consultancy services to clients on direct tax issues.
• Preparation of tax memorandums for companies and individuals.
• Participate in meetings with clients and gathering all necessary information and documentation for further processing.
• Work with other departments within the firm to address tax-related matters.
• Stays up to date with all developments in the field of taxation.
• Any other Direct Tax related tasks.

 

Key Skills/Experience:  

• Holders of a degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or another closely related field.
• Part or Fully Qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA is desirable.
• 2+ years of experience in a Tax focused role within a professional services firm is a must.
• Experience with the preparation of TD1 and TD4 Forms, as well as IR7.
• Any previous experience with Transfer Pricing will be considered an advantage.
• Relevant experience in dealing with preparation of audited financial statements.
• Knowledge of computerized Accounting Systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages.
