St Raphael Resort & Marina is seeking a new associate for the position of Human Resources Manager to join our growing team.

JOB OVERVIEW

The organization and effective operation of the Human Resources Department and of the Training and Development of all team members in accordance with the hotel’s HR manual, the hotel’s established objectives and procedures, labour legislation, collective agreements, and employment relations practices, thereby significantly contributing to the hotel's success.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Leads and directs human resources operations based on the hotel’s Vision, Strategic Goals, General Policy, and Operational Procedures to enhance effectiveness.
  2. Ensures the existence and continuous revision of Job Descriptions for all positions within the hotel.
  3. Plays a key role in Workforce Planning for recruitment and succession planning and ensures the proper implementation of the defined recruitment, selection, and hiring process.
  4. Collaborates with Accounting Department to ensure the complete and accurate records of employment, shifts, payroll, benefits, changes, annual leave, sick leave, and other adjustments.
  5. Cooperates with trade unions, labour office, government agencies, and hotel schools to secure employees, obtain necessary permits, and maintain compliance with labour relations regulations.
  6. Implements Incentive and Recognition Systems to maintain high employee morale and suggests improvements to these systems.
  7. Handles and resolves team members concerns or issues in cooperation with the management team.
  8. Prepares the Annual Training and Development Plan and Budget in collaboration with the General Manager and ensures all training activities outlined in the Annual Training Plan are conducted on time and effectively, within budget and according to the Human Resources Management and Development Manual.
  9. Ensures compliance with the hotel’s Environmental Policy in collaboration with department heads and participates in Special Committee meetings when required.
  10. Provides feedback and suggestions to senior management for the effective management and development of human resources.
  11. Oversees and implements the activities that concern the welfare and wellbeing of the team members and organises various teambuilding events for creating strong professional and business bonds between them.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION

Education:

  • University Degree in HR Management or a relevant field of study.
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages.

Previous Experience:

  • At least 4 years of progressively responsible experience in the hotel sector or Human Resources Management.

Other Skills:

  • High level of responsibility, initiative, judgment, and decision-making within the general policies set by hotel management.
  • Willingness to take on responsibilities beyond the core duties of the position.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Friendly, reliable, pleasant personality with a high sense of professionalism.
  • Proficiency in computer programs (word, excel) and HR systems
  • Holder of an EU passport/ID.
