Are you an experienced accountant looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a well-established technology company based in Nicosia, is seeking a skilled professional to assist in financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Your Role
As an Accountant, you will:
✅ Oversee accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, and general ledger management.
✅ Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations (VAT, corporate tax, Social Insurance).
✅ Generate management reports and ad hoc reports to support the management in decision-making.
✅ Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
✅ Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring timely payments.
✅ Manage invoicing, cash collection, and bank deposits.
✅ Stay updated on accounting standards, tax laws, and industry regulations.
What We’re Looking For
🔹 3-4 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
🔹 Strong knowledge of data processing, supplier reconciliations, and query resolution.
🔹 SoftOne accounting software knowledge is a plus.
🔹 Basic Excel skills.
🔹 Degree/Diploma in Accounting (or LCCI Higher Certificate).
🔹 Greek native speaker with fluency in English (written & spoken).
