Company Description
On behalf of our client, a well-established group of companies operating in the Cyprus market, primarily in the field of information and technology products, services, and solutions, we are seeking to recruit an experienced professional for the position of Head of IT Solutions, to be based at our client’s premises in Nicosia.

Job Duties
Reporting to the General Manager, the Head of IT Solutions will lead and manage the IT Solutions department, ensuring its alignment with the company’s overall business objectives and strategy. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing IT solutions to meet customer business needs, including conceptualization, design, and implementation.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure IT solutions align with customer requirements and expectations.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors.
• Staying informed about industry trends and advancements to drive innovation and growth.
• Undertaking technical training as required by vendors.
• Ensuring IT solutions comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Overseeing team certifications to guarantee the capability to install and maintain provided solutions.
• Offering technical guidance and support to the sales team to effectively communicate the value of IT solutions.
• Preparing technical sections of proposals as needed.
• Monitoring competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
• Managing budgets and resources for IT solution implementations to maximize ROI and ensure high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field will be considered an advantage.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a leadership role with strong expertise in architecture design, engineering, and network systems.
• Proven track record of sales success and delivery.
• Excellent command of Greek and English languages.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) concepts
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices
• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes
