Principal Objectives
The CFO is part of the senior management team and shall provide advice and guidance on financial aspects in key decision-making processes. The CFO is responsible for the full spectrum of Finance and Accounting tasks of the company, providing leadership to the finance team in areas of accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow planning, taxation, audit, customs, invoicing, …..
As member of the senior management team, the CFO is also responsible to actively participate to the development strategy of the company.
The CFO is also responsible of the IT department.
Job duties and responsibilities
In addition to the principal objectives, the CFO is responsible:
1. to develop and implement a strategic business plan for the company activities and developments in collaboration with the CEO;
2. to participate in the goal setting and to prepare the budget of the company, including key indicators of profitability and to work with managers to efficiently develop budget proposals, investment plans and to ensure related reporting;
3. to prepare the monthly reports / presentations related to the results to the Board of Directors and Senior Management of the Company;
4. to ensure that cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities of the company;
5. to lead complex long-term processes and negotiations with banks;
6. to develop appropriate procedures to support assigned duties of his/her departments;
7. to effectively cooperate with the Company Executive Committee members to contribute to the management of the contracts and maximizing their profitability;
8. to prepare all invoices and costing files to be sent to the different Customers, to monitor payments;
9. to negotiate, follow-up and renew all insurance certificates linked to the company activity;
10. to develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization that has strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communications, and workflows:
11. to comply with local financial and tax requirements by studying existing and new legislation and taking appropriate action;
12. to evaluate and implement strategic objectives and play a key role in supporting the company’s plans.
13. to analyze internal operations and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement;
14. to manage finance department and oversee financial IT systems, ensuring ethics and compliance with relevant law and regulations;
15. to establish and develop relations with the company senior management, with partners, suppliers and stakeholders including government bodies;
16. to balance and manage the interests of all the shareholders of the company;
17. to monitor financing arrangements and ensuring compliance with debt covenants
18. to perform other relevant tasks for this position as assigned by the CEO.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelors University Degree or equivalent
2. Fluent knowledge of English Language (Written and Oral)
3. Minimum seven years work experience in similar position.
4. Strong expertise in financial management, corporate finance, finance transformation, and investment strategies.
5. Professional Accounting certification
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume (Aviation) environment.
7. Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Organizations processes and obligations is a plus.
