As our team expanding, Columbia Cruise Services, part of Columbia Group is seeking to recruit a motivated QA Assurance Specialist to join the team in Limassol, Cyprus.
The Quality Assurance Specialist shall have the following qualifications:

A university degree and/or at least two (2) years relevant work experience within the shipping industry;

Good communicational and organizational skills;
-
Good knowledge of maritime industry and operations, applicable standards, international rules and regulations and of industry guidelines and recommendations;

Proficient in spoken and written English.
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for:

Assisting in the preparation of the Company’s management system documentation;
-
Supporting the distribution of Management System documentation both internally and externally;
-
Reviewing and following up on suggestions for improvements to the management system documentation in coordination with the Head of Quality Assurance;

Arranging and monitoring Drug & Alcohol tests on the fleet;
-
Recording Internal and External Office and shipboard non-conformities and observations and monitoring timely implementation;
-
Being adequately conversant with the Company’s Management System;
-
Implementing effectively the Company’s Management System;
-
Contributing to the development of new or the amendment of existing procedures;
-
Promoting and supporting efforts for continual improvement;
-
Monitoring, updating and analysing departmental Key Performance Indicators;
-
Monitoring and updating programs for Objectives & Targets;
-
Preparation, review and recoding of MOCs, as well as monitoring status of follow-up;

Preparation, arranging and recording of departmental meetings;

Maintaining the departmental filing systems;
-
Preparation and monitoring of vessels’ mail;
-
Supporting with and participating in any other tasks and projects that may be assigned by the Head of Quality Assurance.
The Quality Assurance Specialist reports and is accountable to the Head of Quality Assurance.
