TUS Airways is inviting candidates to submit their CV applications for the following position which must fulfil the requirements below:
Ground Operations Officer
The Ground Operations Officer will report to the Director of Ground & Cargo Operations and will be responsible for the following Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deal with admin of Ground Operations Department (e.g. Station Flight Reports, Invoices, Station correspondence, filing, update outstation contact lists, personnel and training admin matters etc)
- Keep up to date the invoicing record list (Ground Ops Sharepoint)
- Check invoices and return on time to the Accounts Department
- Send daily porterage to IAA and handle monthly reconciliation
- Monitor contracts and validation time
- Keep updated prices lists of service providers on Ground Operations Sharepoint
- Assist with excess baggage policy at all stations and reconcile monthly excess baggage statistics
- Distribute bulletins to TUS Departments of any updates to Ground Operations procedures
- Adhoc representation at airport during TUS flights when required
- Ensure understanding of, commitment to and compliance with the TUS Airways Safety, Security and Compliance Policy
- Ensure that safety, security and compliance are primary responsibilities when performing duties
- During the exercise of duties ensure procedures and practices are in conformity with applicable EASA regulations, Cyprus DCA requirements, Company standards and procedures and local laws and regulations in all locations where operations are conducted
- Ensure that you are physically and medically fit for duty and have adequate level of alertness
- Provide timely feedback to the organisation with regards to any safety or security incidents or accidents, safety hazards or security threats through the Company reporting system
- Adhere to safety, security and compliance policies and procedures detailed in MSM and Company manuals
- Ensure compliance of Standard Operating Practices against relevant regulatory requirements and organisation’s compliance requirements
- Commitment to TUS Airways Air Fatigue Management program and principles
- Participate in ERP exercises and deployments as per Company policies and procedures and in accordance with assigned duties as outlined in the TUS Emergency Response Plan
- Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Ground & Cargo Operations
Requirements and Qualifications
- Have considerable experience in ground operations and handling. Knowledge of Cargo handling would be an advantage
- Strong administrative and organizing abilities, be self motivated.
- Hold appropriate qualifications in Office Management and/or Business Administration
- Excellent Microsoft office skills and be computer literate
- Strong administrative and organising abilities, be self-motivated
- Excellent command of the Greek and English languages
- Have a strong personality, analytical skills, good communication skills, initiative and sound judgement
