CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a leading law firm offering a full business law service to Cyprus-based and international corporations and individuals, we are seeking to recruit a Lawyer to join their growing teams based in either Nicosia or Larnaca. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Law, and who are ideally full members of the Cyprus Bar Association. You should possess at least 2 years of post-qualification litigation experience, with any relevant experience in Banking Law considered an advantage. Excellent technical legal language skills and verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English are a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Representing clients before Courts and other public authorities and attending meetings with clients.
• Draft legal advice and pleadings.
• Offer the whole scope of legal services to clients.
• Advise international and local clients on EU and Cyprus law matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documentation, corporate and commercial agreements/documents, and other contractual documentation for clients.
• Undertaking legal research.
• Assisting with the efficient management of workflow of the team.
• Develop skills as an attorney and as a strategic business advisor.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Educated to degree level in Law.
• Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
• 2+ years of post-qualification experience in Litigation is a must.
• Experience in Banking Law will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent technical legal language skills and verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
• Excellent client service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and excellent computer literacy.
• Strong team orientation, ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage multiple deadlines in a busy and demanding work environment.
• Accurate, reliable, creative, well organised, and proactive.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, responsibility, and professionalism.
