CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International Group operating in the classified ads sector, and with expanding operations in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Manual Software Tester to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Manual Software Tester, you will primarily be responsible for performing manual tests to validate the functionality of web products, ensuring compliance with requirements. Our client is seeking applicants who possess 2+ years of experience in manual test execution, preferably working with web-based products. You will need to possess skills in functional, UX/UI and compatibility tests, and be familiar with the Agile methodology. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Performing manual tests to validate the functionality of web products, ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Documenting and tracking identified bugs, following their entire lifecycle until resolution.
• Analyzing post-deployment impact, verifying that updates do not introduce regressions or malfunctions.
• Collaborating with the QA team and developers to improve product quality by suggesting solutions for identified issues.
• Creating, updating, and executing manual test cases and test plans, adapting them to different devices, browsers, operating systems, and test environments.
• Actively participating in Agile/Scrum meetings (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to stay aligned with the team on ongoing activities and priorities.
• Validating user experience and usability, reporting any navigation or interaction issues with the interface.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes, identifying areas for optimization and proposing best practices.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• At least 2 years of experience in manual test execution, preferable in web-based products.
• Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
• Preferable knowledge of these tools: Jira, Google Suite Docs and Sheets, BrowserStack and Figma.
• Skills in functional, UX/UI and compatibility tests.
• Experience with the Agile methodology.
• Experience in an international team environment is desirable.
• Professional approach aimed at achieving goals by team working.
• Fluency in English is required.
