Litigation Lawyer – Paphos

Responsibilities:

• Provides legal advice and service on complex legal issues and oversees all legal matters; Managing responsibility for litigation files; responsible for the provision and/or procurement of legal support for “customers in their dispute risks and litigation needs; Drafting pleadings and discovery; Negotiating settlements.
• Represents company in transactions and regulatory proceedings
• Giving advice at pre-dispute phase on best strategy to avoid or mitigate litigation risks.
• Assessing cases to minimise exposure and effectively resolve the matter.
• Communicating with clients, including meeting client reporting requirements; identifying and proactively addressing relevant legal issues, to provide effective and pragmatic advice, identifying risks and trends;
• Performing administrative and management functions related to the practice of law

Qualifications

• University degree in Law
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant professional experience in court hearings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages
