Areti Charidemou & Associates LLC is looking to fill the Property Lawyer Position. The selected candidate will be responsible for the delivery of day-to-day legal procedures of the Property Department. We take professionalism and integrity seriously therefore we are looking for a team player for this position to support us meet the highest standards of our services.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Handle a portfolio of clients
- Manage ongoing communication with clients, local and governmental authorities
- Draft and reviewing legal work and any other related legal document
- Handle and monitoring related transactions
- Advise and deal with the Department’s procedures and services
- Provide effective property related legal services and assist with the improvement of policies and procedures
- Participate in meetings with clients
- May need to attend local and governmental authorities
- Perform any other reasonable tasks that a lawyer of the Department is required to perform
- Ensure compliance with AML legislation, ensure compliance with GDPR legislation and carrying out client’s due diligence
Minimum Qualifications
- University Degree in Law
- Member of the Cyprus Bar Association
- At least four years of experience
- Speak and write fluently and professionally both in Greek and English
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely with clients and associates
- Maturity in handling confidential information
Desired Qualifications and Traits
- Relevant experience with property law is an advantage for this position
- Professional communication skills towards clients, colleagues and other associates
- Willing to take responsibilities, and passion to prove consistency on his/her job duties
