CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding and highly innovative Information Technology company with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Network Engineer to join their team. The successful applicant will hold a relevant academic background relating to Information Technology and possess sound knowledge of IT Networking, including routing and switching technologies as well as IP protocols. Fluency in Greek & English are essential.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• IT installations and customer training (at customer’s premises).
• IT maintenance and support (at customer’s premises).
• Outdoor installations – Cabling.
• Equipment installation and mounting.
• Assisting clients and resolving issues remotely (over skype, TeamViewer, email, phone).
• Talking to customers.
• Configuring all the different solutions for the customers.
• Configuring monitoring tools.
• Prototyping and specification analysis for solutions.
• Testing various software development features.
• Search engine optimization of website, adding content and blogging.
• Marketing solutions via different web platforms.
• Bidding management for governmental projects.
• Presenting solutions to prospective customers.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• University degree (Computer Networks or IT related).
• Good understanding of routing and switching technologies, OSI model and IP protocols.
• Good understanding of wireless technologies.
• IT/Network engineering background.
• Good understanding of computer software and hardware.
• CISCO CCNA level “Routing and Switching” certification will be considered as plus.
• MCTS or MCSA Windows Server and MCSA SQL certifications will be considered as plus.
• SQL understanding will be considered a plus.
• Web site design (HTML/CSS/JS) will be considered as plus.
• Languages: English (Fluent) & Greek (Fluent).
