CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of technology solutions to the Financial Services & Legal sectors, we are seeking to recruit a Software Implementation Officer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will play a key role organising, managing and ultimately ensuring the delivery of software-related projects to Client’s of the company. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Computer Science or a related field and will need to possess a good command of Windows Operating Systems as well as Network concepts. Knowledge and experience with the administration of relational databases as well as shell programming and scripting is desirable. Our clients offers a highly attractive remuneration package, including contribution towards a private Medical and Provident Fund, flexible working hours and Hybrid working conditions.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Organise, manage, and execute the delivery of solutions at customer sites.
- Manage and implement new installations.
- Manage the execution of new releases to existing installations.
- Automate the delivery process.
- Participate in technical support operations.
- Contribute to the enhancement of the existing automated testing infrastructure.
- Maintain any related documentation.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Good command of the Windows Server Operating System.
- Good knowledge of network concepts.
- Good knowledge with the administration of relational database systems is advantageous.
- Previous experience in shell programming and scripting (PowerShell) is advantageous.
- Previous experience with NUnit, Jenkins and Liquibase is desirable.
- Previous experience in any cloud environment is desirable.
- Flexibility to work out of usual office hours if required.
- Team player.
- Structured and organised thinking with ability to multitask, plan, and prioritise.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
