CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a boutique provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit an Auditor to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will ideally be educated to degree level in either Accounting, Finance, Economics or another related field and will need to possess demonstrable experience in the Audit profession. Candidates working towards obtaining ACA or ACCA membership are encouraged to apply, as well as those who have recently completed the qualification. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek & English are essential.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performing audit engagements of both local and international clients.
• Involvement in client acceptance procedures and preparation of the proper KYC file.
• Identifying risk areas and planning the audit work accordingly.
• Preparation of audit working papers.
• Communication with clients while conducting the audit work.
• Assist in the execution and completion of audit engagements in a wide variety of industries and assume responsibility for completing engagements and projects assigned.
• Preparation of tax computations and tax returns.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Candidates working towards the ACA/ACCA or those who have recently obtained full membership are encouraged to apply.
• Approximately 2+ years of proven experience in the audit field is essential.
• Working knowledge of IFRSs and ISAs.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Good time management.
• Capable of working under own initiative.
• Fluent knowledge of the Greek and English languages.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Eager to constantly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ambition to have a career as an Auditor.
