On behalf of our client, a Shipping company, we are seeking to hire a Software Architect to support the dynamic IT Department of the team, in the Limassol offices.

Main duties and job responsibilities:

• Assisting the development team with all aspects of software design and coding.

• Learning the codebase and improving coding skills.

• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.

• Responding to requests to the development team.

• Make suggestions for and carry out improvements.

• Producing reports.

• Executing development test cases.

• Supporting/troubleshooting users of the Danaos ERP system.

• Analyzing the internal systems' technical performance.

Minimum Qualification & Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant.

• Minimum 3-5 years of related experience in software development.

• Knowledge of basic coding languages including VB. NET, ASP.NET, C#.NET, LINQ, SQL etc.

• Knowledge of database design with SQL Server.

• Mobile application development will be an advantage.

• An advantage would be having knowledge of accounting systems like SAP, Danaos, etc.

• good functional knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and email systems.
