Happy Valley Veterinary Clinic & Pet Hotel is offering a permanent position of a Pet Groomer.

Location:

Konstantinou Kavafi 9, Erimi 4630, Limassol. We provide parking for staff in the premises

The candidate needs to live in Limassol as well have their own transportation and accommodation.

Soft skills:

Qualifications:

• Pet grooming diploma level 2 or 3, please attach grooming certificate – not necessary

Small animal handling skills:

• Understanding of small animals body language

• How to approach a pet safely

• Understanding of pet restraining techniques for examinations etc

• How to lift the pet on and off the table safely

• Ability to walk small to large (50kg) dog safely

• How to enter and exit the pet’s room safely

• How to take the pet out of the crate safely and how to put the pet in the crate safely

• Confident manner around pets

Responsibilities:

We provide training during the trial period – training period is also paid

Type of pets - dogs and cats

• Level 1 - Bath and brush

• Level 2 - Basic styling techniques

• Level 3 - Breed standard styling and freestyle grooming

• Hygiene
