We are looking for a content writer to interpret written pieces in the Greek language, making sure to maintain their original meaning, format, and tone.

Ultimately, you will provide ready-to-use written content that meets our internal needs and helps us reach a broader audience.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a content writer, Interpreter or similar role
• Fluency in English in addition to your native language
• Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Time-management skills

• BSc in Translation, Interpreting or similar field

• Additional certification in Linguistics is a plus

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reading material and researching industry-specific terminology

• Ensuring that the texts convey original meaning and tone

• Reading the given material and research industry-specific terminology

• Converting text from English to the Greek language

• Writing the content from scratch in the given subject/topic.

• Preparing titles for campaigns

• Cross-reference specialised dictionaries and translation tools to check the quality of the translation

• Proofreading texts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy

• Following up with internal team members and clients to ensure the content meets their needs

• Editing content with an eye toward maintaining its requested format (e.g. currency and structure)

• Translation tasks cover: on-sight translations, campaign mailers/offers, media buying partner translations, AdHoc affiliate website proofreading, minor social media posts
