bbf: is one of the leading and fastest-growing companies in the property market in Cyprus and Greece, offering its clients such services, as property sales, rentals, management, construction, and other related services. bbf: is willing to enlarge its internal staff and is currently looking for a Global Procurement Specialist.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Expand the Procurement function and support the best possible commercial terms for the business.
  • Support during pre-acquisitions, analysing current supply chain agreements, establishing potential suppliers and the high-level operational costs to assess the feasibility of a purchase.
  • Assist on a more effective approach and development of the Global Procurement at all businesses within the Group.
  • Gathering tender requirements always based on specs on a Global basis, follow arithmetical and technical evaluations, award of the successful bidder.
  • Maintain high-level contract negotiations with major global suppliers to minimise currency or freight cost fluctuation risk.
  • Ensure an appropriate procurement strategy is established for each requirement, to achieve the best value based on quality, and meets external and internal regulations.
  • Provide effective support on procurement operations across all businesses within the Group.
  • Maintaining and monitoring the filing system per case.
  • Other duties as assigned within the department.

Requirements for the position:

  • Degree or qualified through experience in Supply Chain management or similar is a must.
  • Extensive Purchasing background with a multi-national environment at world class standards is a must.
  • Proven track record in a supply chain role, ideally with Group or multi-site responsibility.
  • Proven strategic sourcing, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Must be able to communicate supply chain objectives clearly and convey the benefits to the management.
  • Financial literacy and proven commercial acumen & the ability to develop and monitor budgets
  • English Language is a must, Russian and Greek will be considered as an advantage
