CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Financial Services, regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK, we are seeking to recruit a QA Software Engineer to join their growing team based in Limassol. As part of the role, the successful applicant will design, develop and modify functional automation and manual tests, tracking issues and driving resolutions throughout the testing process. You will ideally be educated to degree level in Computer Science or a related field and possess practical software testing experience, ideally with some experience of automated testing. Practical experience with Selenium, Selenide, Appium or any similar frameworks for automated testing is highly advantageous. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are a must.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Understands business requirements, features, and technical implementation.
• Enhances software delivery and quality throughout the entire software development cycle.
• Designs, develops and modifies functional automation and manual tests.
• Executes both manual and automation test cases and reports testing status to project teams.
• Tracks issues and drives resolutions throughout the testing process.
• Manages in-house testing documentation.
• Offers services related to the above tasks and projects to any of the Companies of the Group as instructed by the direct supervisor.

Key Skills/Experience:

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or another related field.
• Practical experience in software development will be a plus.
• Experience of both manual and automated testing is highly desirable.
• Practical experience with Selenium, Selenide, Appium or any similar frameworks will be considered a significant advantage.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Proactive, sharp, efficient, and self-organized.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise.
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management and to explain complex issues in a clear and concise manner.
