CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International Group of Companies with diverse business interests, we are seeking to recruit an IT Support Officer to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant be responsible for handling a variety of IT support related tasks, including addressing any technological problems that arise within the Group and providing technical support to users by diagnosing and correcting issues. You should hold an academic background relating to Information Technology and possess previous, demonstrable experience within a similar IT Support position. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential for this role.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to users.
- Perform daily monitoring of critical network components, backups, servers, security software.
- Assist IT team members with various tasks.
- Operate dedicated business-oriented equipment (training will be provided).
- Configuring new computers, phones, and other devices.
- Troubleshoot network systems and computer hardware and make repairs when necessary.
- Creating and maintaining users in internal and cloud-based systems.
- Reporting to the IT Manager.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
- Knowledge of computer networking systems and computer hardware.
- Principles and practices of computer and telephone support services, computer hardware and software applications and associated security and backup procedures.
- Experience in Mac OS and iOS will be considered an advantage.
- Computer literate, working knowledge and experience of Office 365 and other common OS & Software.
- Excellent command of English and outstanding communication skills.
- Ability to make current judgments, prioritize tasks, apply common sense.
- Travel requirements might apply to EU and non-EU countries occasionally.
