The Costa Coffee Cyprus company is currently seeking an Accounting Supervisor for our head office in Nicosia.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency,
• Manage payroll preparation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations,
• Preparation of weekly list of payments and coordination of payments to suppliers, service providers, petty cash etc
• Ensure all payments are made on time and that suppliers are treated with integrity,
• Prepare international payments instructions,
• Perform monthly suppliers’ reconciliations and assist accounting officers with bank reconciliations,
• Correspond with stores and monitor cash reconciliations and cash deposits,
• Work closely with Operation Department to monitor inventory prices and maintain COGS low
• Handle VAT and other tax-related matters, including the preparation and submission of returns,
• Manage the rental cost of the company and ensure SDC payments are made on time,
• General Bookkeeping

Qualifications

• Degree in Financial and Accounting Science
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Computer literate, knowledge of Microsoft Windows especially MS Excel
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Fluency in English
• Have a very strong work ethic, professional attitude and be able to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Familiarity with NetSuite (Oracle) software will be considered an advantage
• Previous experience in Food & Beverage Industry will be considered an advantage
