We are seeking a talented and experienced PHP Laravel Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a PHP Laravel Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using the Laravel framework. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of innovative digital solutions that enhance user experiences and drive our company’s technological growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, front-end developers, and project managers to translate business requirements into efficient and effective technical solutions.

  • Develop, test and deploy new features and enhancements for web applications using the Laravel framework and PHP programming language.

  • Write clean, maintainable and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform code reviews and provide solutions to optimize application performance and functionality.

  • Implement security measures to protect web applications against common security vulnerabilities and ensure data integrity.

  • Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality and user experience.

  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and analysis to deployment and post-launch support.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies and best practices related to PHP, Laravel and web development in general.

  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements to increase development efficiency and product quality.

  • Contribute to technical documentation and provide assistance to junior developers as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Proven experience as a PHP developer with a strong focus on Laravel framework (3+ years).

  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.

  • Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, MySQL and related technologies.

  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.

  • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services integration is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Docker, AWS, or other cloud services is a plus.
