Sigma Bakeries Ltd, a fast-growing bakery/confectionery business in Limassol, is looking for an experienced individual for the position of Payroll Assistant.Job Description:As Payroll Assistant you will assist the Payroll Manager with:

  • Preparation of salary payroll of between 400 – 450 employees monthly.

  • Meeting tight monthly deadlines of all payroll and payroll tax obligations.

  • Meeting yearly payroll deadlines such as IR7, IR63 and IR59 etc.

  • Preparation and reconciliation - salary deductions (loans, salary advances, expense deductions etc) - monthly.

  • Reconciliation of payroll balance sheet and profit & loss accounts monthly.

  • Coordinating with the HR department on processing of new starters/leavers and payroll-related employee queries.

  • Preparation of various analytical spreadsheets including KPI’s for management on an ad hoc basis.

  • Assist in the implementation of new HR/Payroll software and systems.

  • Other responsibilities as defined by the Accounts Department and/or Payroll Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in payroll preparation for 100+ employees within the Food & Beverage and/or Hospitality Industries.

  • Good command of English and Greek.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Advanced skills in MS office packages (Excel, Word and Microsoft office).

  • Experience in payroll software packages. Experience with 3De POCKET payroll software (upgraded version of NOESIS) would be considered an advantage.

  • Ability to work under pressure independently.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and be a trustworthy team player.
