CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding Group of Companies that provide a range of services to the Forex industry, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will be responsible for a variety of accounting and bookkeeping related tasks on behalf of the Group, including performing debtors and creditors reconciliations, bank reconciliations and PSP reconciliations. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related fields who possess approximately 1 year of previous experience in a relevant role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential and any previous experience working in the Forex and/or Financial Services sector will be considered an advantage.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintaining up to date, accurate and reliable accounting records for financial and tax reporting purposes.
• Performing debtors and creditors reconciliations.
• Performing bank reconciliations.
• Performing PSPs reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Performing other relevant tasks assigned by the Management.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Approximately 1 year of previous working experience in a relevant accounting and bookkeeping role is essential.
• Any previous experience working in the Forex and/or Financial Services sector will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Sound knowledge of MS Office, including Excel.
• Ability to perform well under pressure.
• Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
