CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Group of Companies with diverse business interests, including the provision of Cyber Security & Data Analytics solutions to global clientele, we are seeking to recruit a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their growing team based in Limassol. Our client is seeking applications from candidates who are ideally educated to degree level in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar who possess approximately 3+ years of previous experience working in DevOps. You will need to be an expert in code deployment tools such as Puppet, Ansible and/or Chef and possess a strong command of software automation production systems including Gitlab, CI/CD and/or Jenkins. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Apply cloud (AWS) computing skills to deploy upgrades and fixes.
• Design, develop, and implement software integrations based on user feedback.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment.
• Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines).
• Analyze code and communicate detailed reviews to development teams to ensure a marked improvement in applications and the timely completion of projects.
• Collaborate with team members to improve the company’s engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security.
• Optimize the company’s computing architecture.
• Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability.
• Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Approximately 3+ years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering role.
• An expert in code deployment tools (Puppet/Ansible/Chef).
• Ability to maintain Python web applications and Android applications.
• Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring.
• Possess a strong command of software-automation production systems (Gitlab CI/CD/Jenkins).
• Exhibit expertise in software development methodologies.
• Working knowledge of Python and known DevOps tools like Git and GitLab.
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL (Structured Query Language).
