The Island Private School of Limassol in Cyprus opened in September 2022. Temporary campus accommodates 700 students and 170+ team members. We’re looking for a competent, experienced and, above all, passionate Operation Director to join our multinational team. As an Operations Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of The Island Private School.

The Position:

General responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth & safe daily operations of the school;
• Design, implement and maintain operational processes, policies and procedures;
• Manage the 3rd party providers: security, cleaning, transportation, catering (school canteen), maintenance;
• Manage inhouse team including maintenance specialists and office managers;
• Manage the school's healthcare services, which include a school nurse;
• Support school events and trips;
• Educate academic team on operational policies & procedures;
• Manage school inventory (stationary, consumables, furniture).

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English (both written and verbal), Greek as an advantage
• Experienced in a similar role in international environment
• Advanced Excel user, technical savvy
• Team player
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and able to multitask effectively
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Experience managing operational activities in a fast changing environment is required
