M.T.Technoline Ltd would like to hire a Chief Accountant for its offices.

The Role

• Supervise, support and ensure the smooth running of the department
• Management of the day-to-day operations and procedures of the department e.g. data entry of daily accounting transactions, handling of invoices, expenses, payments, credit notes and petty cash
• Preparation of cash flow statements and income & expenditure accounts
• Perform reconciliation of customer, supplier and vendor accounts
• Perform bank reconciliation
• Handling of VAT, Tax returns and other Tax issues
• Payroll preparation and submission of SI declarations
• Preparation of ad hoc reports and statistics as required by the management
• Perform budget preparations
• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Assist in auditing activities and preparation of Financial Statements by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation
• Liaise with various external stakeholders e.g. Banks, Customers, Vendors, Auditors, etc.
• Effective coordination and management of the department’s staff
• Any other accounting or financial activities as requested by the management

The person

• Degree or Certificate in Accounting, Finance or related field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Good knowledge of using Computers and Software Systems (e.g. accounting, payroll)
• Very good knowledge of MS office, especially MS Excel
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English
• Very good critical thinking skills, with an analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail
• Problem Solving Skills
• Very good organizational and multitasking skills
• Professional discipline with strong work ethic
