Head of Sales

We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Head of Sales to lead our sales team in the financial industry. As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for driving the company's revenue growth, overseeing the sales department, and implementing strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to shape the sales vision, foster business development, and enhance our market position.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve or surpass revenue targets.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the team's success.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by conducting market research, networking, and prospecting.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the industry to position our company as the preferred provider of financial services.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Lead contract negotiations and finalize deals to meet or exceed sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure alignment of messaging and strategy, enhancing overall market penetration.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to senior leadership.
  • Actively participate in industry conferences and events to remain current with market trends and best practices.
  • Developing, monitoring, and achieving/surpassing sales goals and KPIs on a global scale.

Work Experience / Knowledge

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in sales, with a proven track record in the financial industry.
  • Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets.

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required

  • Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial products and services.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
