THE COMPANY
On behalf of our client, a prestigious entity with main activities the importation and distribution of pharmaceutical products and medical devices, we seek to recruit a dynamic and high calibre professional for the position of Sales Manager, to be based in Limassol.
THE POSITION
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the sales and marketing strategy, leading the Sales Department of the Company and overseeing the planning and the successful implementation of the related initiatives and activities, ensuring effective customer acquisition and revenue growth. More specifically, the responsibilities of the successful candidate will be the following, amongst other:
- Propose, develop and execute sales growth strategies and action plans, in order to meet the Company’s sales and revenue targets
- Ensure significant lead generation for the Company, chase and conclude on key sales opportunities
- Lead and oversee the Sales Department and provide guidance and support to the team members while ensuring maximum performance
- Develop a high performing team and inspire ownership and accountability for the set targets
- Conduct training sessions for new hires to ensure that all employees have adequate knowledge about company products or services
- Communicate to the sales team the strategy and business plan and provide leadership and direction in order to ensure that strategic action is implemented effectively
- Build, lead, manage and operate the various sales channels of the Company
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential or existing clients
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the industry and propose any further initiatives or adjustments to the action plan, as necessary
- Attend local and international exhibitions and networking events and effectively represent the Company and promote and communicate the unique proposition of the Company
- Track the Department’s financial figures such as budgets, expenses and sales targets, set and evaluate performance and Key Performance Indicators and take proactive action when necessary
- Prepare and provide detailed reports, to the Company’s leadership team, for all key areas of his/her responsibility
- Set effective policies, procedures and operations for the Department and ensure adherence
- Ensure full compliance with quality standards, Company policy, applicable laws and regulatory requirements and monitor that all related administrative tasks and filing are performed effectively and timely
- Promote a culture of positive staff morale, high-performance, agility and accountability, so as to attract and retain talented individuals
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy or in a related discipline
- At least six (6) years of professional experience in sales in a reputable organisation of which at least three (3) in a sales management role in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong knowledge of the local market
- Effective people management skills with ability to influence towards the achievement of objectives
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and teamwork
- Impeccable lead generation, negotiation, networking and representation skills
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Ability to perform in a highly dynamic environment with strict deadlines
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in MS Office and particularly Excel, ability to use virtual collaboration tools
REMUNERATION PACKAGE
