Sigma Bakeries Ltd, a leading chain of bakeries in Limassol, seeks to employ an HR Officer to manage all matters concerning its Non-Cypriot-National employees.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle end-to-end registration process such as application, renewal, cancellation, appeal, expiration, follow up with medical check-ups, updating personal particulars to GESY, immigration services, etc.

  • Work directly with and assist managers of different functions to fulfil a variety of necessary HR tasks pertaining to foreign workers.

  • Organise and facilitate the company’s onboarding procedures for new foreign hires.

  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of all onboarding operations and keeping all concerned informed and updated.

  • Track and maintain HR data of foreign workers, conduct weekly briefings for new foreign hires.

  • Administration of housing regulation checks, monthly meter readings and follow-up with any issues that arise.

  • First point of contact for all foreign employees for matters concerning accommodation, employment, leave etc.

  • As the liaison between the company and its foreign employees you will actively promote the interests of both and strive to create and maintain a healthy relationship between the two bridging language and culture barriers.

  • Other relevant ad hoc duties and projects will also be assigned as and when required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma in related discipline with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Excellent knowledge of European and more specifically Cypriot Employment and Immigration/Foreign Workforce laws.

  • Computer literate with proficiency with Microsoft Office.

  • Good interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.

  • Good analytical mind and displays keen insight into data, using them to address issues and find solutions to work challenges.

  • A meticulous, proactive, and independent team player who possesses a high degree of confidentiality.

  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

  • Self-disciplined and able to organise and prioritise own workload.

  • Tactful in handling foreign employee issue resolution.

OTHER INFORMATION

  • Work location: Based in Limassol but will be required to make house and work calls as part of weekly duties.

  • Contract duration: Permanent, Indefinite.

  • Working Hours: Mon-Fri: 8hrs Sat: 4hrs
