CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Auditor to join their growing team based in Larnaca. With supervision and guidance from more experienced team members, the successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out audit engagements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA). You will need to possess a University degree in a relevant field (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or similar) and any previous experience in the Audit profession is desirable, although Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply, and full training will be provided. Our client is seeking candidates who have either commenced the ACCA qualification, or are willing to do so. Fluency in both Greek & English is essential.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Providing assistance in the preparation of all documents required for the audit.
• Being part of a team, performing audit workings and tests in accordance with the firm’s audit methodology and professional standards.
• Undertake audit assignments under close supervision of Senior Auditors.
• Develop good understanding of corporate and personal taxation, carry out tax computations and prepare tax forms.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Key Skills/Experience:

• University degree relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics or a similar field.
• Pursuing the ACCA qualification or willing to do so.
• Basic knowledge of IFRSs & ISAs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Greek and English.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to work in a team and meet strict deadlines.
• Pleasant personality with high levels of professionalism.
