CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Professional Services including Audit, Tax & Accounting services to both local and international clients, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Client Accountant to join their team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for providing Accounting & Bookkeeping services to a portfolio of clients. You will ideally hold a relevant academic background relating to Accounting, Finance or Economics and possess approximately 5+ years of relevant professional experience in a similar position. Fluency in English & Greek is essential.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Providing Bookkeeping & Accounting on behalf of a portfolio of clients.
• Recording accounting and finance transactions in the accounting system on behalf of the client/s.
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
• Bank, Debtors and Creditors Reconciliations.
• Liaising with the Audit Team/Department as and when required.
• Any other relevant accounting and bookkeeping duties as assigned by Management.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Any relevant accounting qualification will be considered an advantage, but not essential.
• Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in Accounting & Bookkeeping; ideally providing services to a portfolio of clients.
• Knowledge of the e-soft and of Caseware accounting softwares will be considered a significant advantage.
• Good knowledge of Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Excellent command of the English and Greek Languages.
• Knowledge of Russian will be considered as an additional advantage.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
