What to expect of your role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in the fast-paced environment of the gambling industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for data-driven decision-making.

You will be expected to:

  • Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies;
  • Generate ad-hoc and automation reports;
  • Automation of reporting and other data processes;
  • Optimization of data flow and SQL requests;
  • Work with databases to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data for analysis purposes;
  • Ensure data integrity and cleanliness through regular data quality checks;
  • Researching of business objectives and data requirements of the business stakeholders to ensure that developed models and reports meet their needs.

What you need to succeed in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline;
  • 1+ years of work experience as a Data Analyst;
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
  • Experience using statistical computer languages (SQL, Python, Excel etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets;
  • Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc;
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI);
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Data-oriented personality;
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
