The Nines, a new five-star luxury lifestyle hotel, will open its doors this spring in the vibrant and cosmopolitan Agia Napa, Cyprus. With the casual luxury approach, we aim to provide all our guests with an exceptional and memorable experience in a relaxed yet indulgent atmosphere.
We are currently looking to recruit a Butcher who will report to the Executive Chef. Below are the main responsibilities of this position:
Provide all requisitioned cuts of all meats and fish to the highest quality
Maintain and store meat and fish safely as per the hotel’s standards
Ensure meat and fish inventory at all times
Report any food spoilage/wastage to the Executive Chef
Follow Executive Chef/Sous Chef instructions
Adhere to all health, safety and hygiene regulations and standards
Maintain the designated area and equipment clean and tidy at all times
The ideal professional shall have the following qualifications, experiences, and skills:
Minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar role, preferably in 5-star hotels or in a high-end restaurant
Knowledge of current trends
Excellent knowledge of the HACCP requirements, health, safety, and hygiene requirements
Very good knowledge of Greek and/or English languages
Planning and organization capabilities
Time management capabilities
Ability to work under pressure
Attention to detail
Flexibility & adaptability
