The Nines, a new five-star luxury lifestyle hotel, will open its doors this spring in the vibrant and cosmopolitan Agia Napa, Cyprus. With the casual luxury approach, we aim to provide all our guests with an exceptional and memorable experience in a relaxed yet indulgent atmosphere.
We are currently looking to recruit experienced and junior Cooks who will report to the Executive Chef. Below are the main responsibilities of this position:
Effectively and efficiently prepare all the recipes
Adhere to all health, safety and hygiene regulations and standards
Follow Executive Chef/Sous Chef instructions
Maintain the designated area clean and tidy at all times
Ensure that the equipment is operational at all times
Monitor inventory levels and notify on time the Executive Chef for any inventory shortage
When needed, cover different roles within the kitchen
The ideal professional shall have the following qualifications, experiences, and skills:
Diploma in Culinary Arts
Previous working experience in a similar position at a 4 or 5-star hotel or at a high-end restaurant
Knowledge of current trends
Excellent knowledge of the HACCP requirements, health, safety, and hygiene requirements
Knowledge of Greek and/or English language
Guest-oriented and creative mindset
Attention to detail
Teamwork
Time management capabilities
Work under pressure
Pleasant and integer personality
Flexibility and adaptability
