Job Title: Supply and Finance Officer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Supply and Finance Officer. This role involves overseeing supply chain operations and coordinating financial activities to ensure smooth and efficient business processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Supply Chain Management:

  • Collaborate with vendors to manage procurement processes, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitor and optimize inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Coordinate logistics, including transportation and distribution, to meet operational requirements.
  • Conduct regular assessments of supplier performance and address any issues proactively.

2. Financial Coordination:

  • Assist in preparing financial documents such as invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor cash flow and assist in forecasting to support financial planning.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to prepare financial reports and statements.

3. Budgeting and Cost Control:

  • Participate in the development of annual budgets and monitor actual performance against budgetary goals.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose strategies for cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.

4. Credit Control:

  • Monitor customer credit accounts and implement credit control procedures.
  • Communicate with clients to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely payments.

5. Reporting:

  • Generate regular reports on supply chain performance, inventory levels, and financial transactions.
  • Analyze data to provide insights into cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management and financial coordination roles.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and financial principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
