We are searching for an enthusiastic and committed Assistant Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team at HF Markets.

Your role at HF Markets:

• Report to the Head of Compliance making recommendations for the department by monitoring and assessing the level of compliance risk that the Company faces.
• Review and update Company's policies and procedures to ensure compliance with CySEC rules and regulations.
• Support the Head of Compliance with the monitoring and assessment on the adequacy and effectiveness of the measures and procedures put in place and designed to detect any risk of failure by the Company to comply with its legislative obligations, as well as the associated risks.
• Assist with the implementation of the Company’s Compliance Monitoring Program according to the relevant legislation by carrying out periodic compliance audits.
• Monitor communication to ensure compliance with internal policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Review marketing materials, websites, and presentations to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Respond to CySEC requests and liaises with CySEC officers on matters relevant to the Company's compliance function.
• Examine, evaluate, and respond promptly to Client complaints/grievances.
• Update Company’s organizational chart to reflect actual reporting lines and Company’s staff members and making relevant notifications to CySEC.
• Prepare and maintain sufficient records of Company’s correspondence with CySEC and/or any other relevant documentation of the Company.
• Stay up to date with revisions of the legal framework and makes relevant suggestions to the Head of Compliance.
• Respond to compliance enquiries.
• Prepare training material for Company’s staff in relation to compliance function, as necessary.
• Prepare company’s employees’ applications for CySEC examinations and updates the relevant registry.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of relevant reports to CySEC and other regulatory bodies.
• Assist in the preparation of periodic reports.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual staff training program.
• Review Company’s agreements and makes recommendations to the Head of Compliance.
• Review and update Company’s documentation, as necessary.

What You Bring:

• University Degree in Law, Economics, Business, Finance, or any other related field.
• 2+ years’ relevant experience.
• Previous experience in the field of Compliance & AML would be considered an advantage.
• High ethical standards.
• Ability to use own initiative, prioritise and work independently.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities coupled with attention to detail.
• Excellent written & verbal communication in both Greek and English language.
• Good interpersonal and conflict management skills.
• CySEC Advanced certificate would be considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of a foreign language would be considered an advantage.
• Computer literacy, especially with MS Office (Word/Excel).
