We invite applications from enthusiastic and ambitious individuals to join the Internal Accounting department of our Nicosia office as an Assistant Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accounting records for the Group’s companies.

  • Review journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded properly.

  • Recording of invoices, receipts, payments and preparing monthly bank reconciliations

  • Assist in payroll processing.

  • Assist in the preparation of documentation related to the annual audit, Income Tax and VAT returns.

  • Ensuring internal deadlines are met.

  • Producing reports for management as required internally, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Support the Finance Manager and CFO of the group in other ad hoc projects.

  • Provide leadership and direction to the internal accounting team.

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional development and teamwork.

Requirements

  • At least 5 - 6 years of experience in accounting

  • Holder of LCCI Higher or other accounting qualifications.

  • University Degree in Accounting or related field will be considered an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and financial reporting

  • Communication and collaboration skills

  • Computer Literacy, with very good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
