Our team is looking to hire a Senior Compliance Officer for our offices in Limassol.
Responsibilities:
- Review, guidance and delegation to subordinates in relation to compliance projects and various regulatory matters;
- Assisting and maintaining the Company’s Compliance as per the internal Compliance Monitoring Plan;
- Monitoring and assisting in any usual and/or ad-hoc compliance reporting obligations;
- Assisting in the preparation of Annual Compliance Reports and/or any other compliance-related ad-hoc regulatory requirements;
- Preparation of training materials and compliance circulars as these should be circulated among the Departments of the Company from time to time;
- Maintenance and update the internal policies in line with regulatory requirements;
- Monitoring and assessment of the correct and effective implementation of compliance policies and procedures;
- Handling a diverse range of compliance relating tasks;
- Stay up to date with relevant regulatory requirements, evolving Compliance and regtech practices in the financial services sector; and
- Report and assist the Head of Legal and Compliance in any tasks and projects that the Department may be involved with.
Requirements:
- Degree from a reputable university in Law/Finance/Economics/ Business Management or related field.
- 2 – 3 years of experience in a compliance role in the FX/FinTech Industry
- CySEC advanced certification and/or CySEC AML certification will be considered as an advantage.
- Excellence knowledge of AML legislation
- Fluency in both verbal and written communication skills in English is a must. Fluency in Greek will be considered an advantage.
- Work effectively and efficiently under pressure and adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and excellent computer literacy;
- Strong team orientation, ability to work collaboratively in a team setting;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, responsibility, and professionalism.
