Company description
On behalf of our client, a leading company in the production and trading of food, we are seeking to recruit a high caliber and experienced candidate for the position of General Manager, to be based at our client's premises in Limassol.

Job Duties
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the successful candidate will oversee the operations of the organisation’s divisions, focusing on:

  • Leading the organisation towards its primary goals, objectives, and vision.
  • Oversee executive-level employment decisions and fostering personnel growth.
  • Cultivating communication, cooperation, and unity among divisions to promote a cohesive organisational culture.
  • Collaborating with the Board of Directors and executives to establish objectives, goals and policies, ensuring regulatory compliance with laws, regulations and industry standards.
  • Presenting regular reports on company operations to the Board of Directors, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Reviewing financial results and performance against objectives, taking corrective actions as needed to achieve satisfactory results.
  • Monitoring the organisation’s budget, revenue, and expenses to maximize profitability while maintaining quality.
  • Cultivating a cohesive company culture and promoting employee satisfaction and recognition.
  • Performing other related duties to benefit the organisation's mission and strengthen relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • A University Degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree or related field considered as an advantage
  • At least 3 years proven experience as a General Manager
  • Experience in ERP systems (i.e.: SAP)
  • Knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages
  • Computer literate with excellent knowledge of MS Office
