THE COMPANY

On behalf of our client, a leading Company operating in the Oil & Gas sector, we seek to recruit on a 12- month fixed term contract, an energetic and high calibre professional for the position of Administration Officer, to be based in Nicosia.

THE POSITION

The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of various administrative tasks. More specifically, the key responsibilities of the person to be appointed will include, amongst other:

  • Welcome and host visitors / guests; liaise with building security to ensure appropriate access
  • Handle incoming phone calls and other correspondence (i.e. mail)
  • Organize and maintain correspondence, documents and computer-based information, in an orderly way following Company procedures
  • Responsible for correspondence delivery and archiving
  • Undertake a variety of administrative and clerical tasks assigned (i.e. printouts preparation, visitors transportation coordination, office catering, etc.)
  • Coordinate and support the planning and execution of meetings, conferences and events
  • Maintain records of office supplies ensuring adequate inventory level of all necessary supplies (i.e. stationery, hygiene products, etc.)
  • Manage travel, transport and accommodation arrangements for colleagues, partners and guests
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers (i.e. maintenance team, IT contractors, etc.) to ensure optimal office operation
  • Take initiative to proactively identify tasks to be completed and take action to achieve high standards of excellence
  • Execute any other administrative duties as they may arise or be assigned by the management and other team members / colleagues

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any field will be considered an advantage
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a corporate and/or international organization
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills, capacity to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines
  • Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership over tasks and resolving issues in a proactive manner
  • Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly
  • Professional maturity and judgement
  • Excellent command of the English and Greek languages, both verbal and written
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
