E-Commerce Officer

CTC-ARI Airports Ltd, part of the ARI group, the Company managing the Travel Retail & Duty-Free shop operations at both Larnaca and Paphos International Airports, invites applications for the recruitment of an E-Commerce Officer, based at Larnaca Airport International Airport.

Purpose of Role

The E- Commerce Officer will play a pivotal role in optimising our online business operations and delivering exceptional customer service. As an E-Commerce Officer you will maintain the company’s digital touchpoints — website, online marketplaces, oversee online sales and optimise the overall customer experience. You will also liaise with vendors, IT, Retail Operations, Marketing Department, Marketing Agencies, Platform Developers, etc., ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the platform. You will also need to liaise with Retail Operations for the delivery of the products and to produce relevant analysis and reports on the performance of e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimise various aspects of e-commerce operations, including website functionality, user experience, and customer service.
  • Work closely with the company’s Marketing team and manage online marketing activities while ensuring the promotional messaging reaches the targeted customers.
  • Drive marketing proposals to help the company improve its online sales, enhance customer satisfaction, and unlock the full potential of its e-commerce business.
  • Develop and implement effective e-commerce growth strategies, drive awareness campaigns to identify and capture new customer bases and business opportunities.
  • Work closely with in-house stakeholders, including Retail and Marketing teams, etc. to achieve set KPI’s.
  • Analyse sales data and study market trends to identify growth opportunities and marketing ideas.
  • Optimise end-to-end the e-commerce journey for our customers, from lead generation to conversion and post-purchase follow-up.
  • Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to ensure the rollout of website changes, price updates and amendments, ensuring that offers and special promotions are carried out in good time.
  • Re-check the prices and other data to ensure correct and accurate data is always on the e-commerce platform.
  • Manage and maintain e-commerce platforms, including product listings, pricing, and inventory management.
  • Analyse data and generate reports to track e-commerce performance, identify trends and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. Prepare daily, weekly & monthly reports and insights for impression and conversion improvement.
  • Monitor customer communications, reviews, and ratings, always responding professionally and within timeframe guidelines. Identify areas of improvement and implement actions for enhancing customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Carry out ad-hoc duties and projects related to the job.

Person Specification – Requirements of the Role

  • Academic qualification equivalent to at least Higher Diploma in Business studies, e-Commerce, or other related discipline
  • At least 2 years of work experience in a similar position
  • Experience managing e-commerce platforms such as Klaviyo and Dynamic Web
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Demand gem or similar
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, or HubSpot for customer segmentation, targeting, and personalised marketing campaigns
  • Good analytical skills
  • Excellent organisational and prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines under tight schedules and pressure
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in both Greek and English
