CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding boutique private investment house offering a suite of tailored wealth management and financial services solutions, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Funding Manager to join their growing team based in Limassol. Reporting to the Head of Funding, the successful candidate will oversee the critical centralized payment function of the company and help drive financial growth. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will develop and execute strategies to optimize funding processes and contribute to the overall financial objectives of the company. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or another related field, who possess approximately 3 years of previous experience in a similar position with involvement in payments and PSPs within the financial industry or other related fields. CySEC Advanced Diploma will be considered an advantage and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Take full ownership of the team handling the daily processing of outgoing and incoming payments and process financial transactions.
• Ensures all payments are handled within internal / external rules & standards, internal / external cut off times.
• Create and maintain a culture of controls, where all critical processes are checked and measured on a daily basis.
• Oversee daily system monitoring, third party invoicing and settlements and all relevant reconciliations and EMI reporting.
• Taking ownership of internal chargeback and fraud management function.
• Together with the Head of Funding ensure resilience of processes by suggesting improvements and establishing new systems and / or relationships.
• Manage internal relationships with other operational departments including Sales, Compliance and Customer Support in relation to payments operational matters.
• Perform analysis and propose improvements to current work practices with a focus on system automation.
• Work closely with the Development team for all related payments projects as project sponsor and subject expert.
• Work closely with the compliance department to ensure adherence with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Take ownership of all related documentation including related Terms and Conditions, Internal Policies and Procedures, Internal Operational Guides and External User Guides
• Incident Management control (e.g. operational losses, process errors) including investigation, mitigation, recovery, and reporting/escalation procedures.
• Manage all PSP solutions across different countries and regulations.
• Ensure adherence to the payments related policies.
• Responding to customers' inquiries in busy hours.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• University degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or relevant field.
• CySEC Advanced Diploma will be considered an advantage.
• Approximately 3 years of previous experience in a similar position with involvement in payments and PSPs within the financial industry or other related fields.
• Experience in managing teams is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Effective team player.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
