The FX Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team including developing and executing sales strategies to meet the company’s revenue targets, building and maintaining client relationships, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong experience, leadership skill and knowledge in a similar role, preferably in a startup.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the FX sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to improve team effectiveness

  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment

  • Identify new business opportunities and markets

  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients

  • Understand client needs and provide tailored FX solutions

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet company objectives and revenue goals

  • Stay informed about the latest developments in the FX market and global economy

  • Provide clients with insights and advice on FX market trends and potential impacts

  • Work closely with the product development team to ensure offerings meet client needs

  • Monitor and manage risks associated with FX transactions

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions

  • Collaborate with other departments, including trading, compliance, and marketing, to provide comprehensive FX solutions

  • Communicate effectively with senior management regarding sales performance and market conditions

  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within FX

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • In-depth understanding of the FX market and financial instruments

  • Native / Fluent English speaker

  • Additional languages will be considered an advantage

  • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities

  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite
